Western Artist Tom Saubert's painting exceeded the estimated selling price at the C.M. Russell Museum Show in Montana! March 27 2014

Tom Saubert’s painting “August Rain” sold for more than 10 percent higher than the estimated selling price at the recent art auction to benefit the Charlie Russell Museum in Montana on March 20, 2014. The 24”x20” oil painting of a woman and child was estimated to sell for $5,800, and it sold for $6,500. Saubert is known for painting both the historic and contemporary west, especially renditions of the people and culture of the Plains Indians.
