Western artist John Coleman received two awards at the 2014 Prix de West Show! June 17 2014
Nationally-acclaimed western artist John Coleman was presented with the James Earle Fraser Scultpture Award and the Buyers Choice Award for his monumental-size bronze “Honeymoon at Crow Fair” at the Prix de West Show on June 14th, 2014. Two of his paintings sold at the same show, the largest one "Lodge of the Thunderbird" sold for $60,000. John Coleman's new small bronze release "Pretty Shield" was unveiled at this event and numerous castings from the edition of 35 were sold.
Mr. Coleman has been a member of the Cowboy Artists of America since 2001, and he has won many prestigious awards for his sculptures and his paintings.
